Market Meal

Don't think you won't cry yourself to sleep tonight, after seeing these pictures. Okay. You actually have fabulous produce, fresh meats, fruits, and veggies in the United States. But if you saw what I get to choose from in the M.E., you'd be crying happy tears for me because I got to go here.

This is the weekend market in the town where we stayed.

This was our last real meal is France. It was fresh, simple, and delicious. No comments about the bacon - my family prefers it crispy. I cooked more pork than I prefer this week, so a little too crispy? Maybe. Quit your whinin'. They ate it. And liked it.

Mmm. It's the simple things in life that make me happy. Clemantines, seedless grapes, and pastries are just a few.

That last sentence should have said, "Pastries, clementines, and seedless grapes." Pastries first! :) Looks delish.
