If I talked to you on the phone today, I'd jabber on about things like this:
"Last week the washer started leaking. I think from the actual hook up to the washer. I'm pretty handy, really. But I do think one should let their husband fix things once in a while. So I put a bucket under the leaking hose, and told Peter. He "fixed" it that night. Except now when I need cold, it's scalding - and hot is ice cold. Hmmm? I tell him,"
"I think you put them back wrong."
"I checked. I'm sure it was right." He says.
"Well, feel for yourself."
"You're right. Okay, that'll just take a minute."
Or fours days,...goin' on five. Oh, I could fix it in a heartbeat. But I do have my priorities, don't I? So, for now. Every item we own is being washed in warm - a mix of both, you know.
So, Ruby has started calling me "Pretend Grandma." She and her baby Brinlie are here "visiting", apparently. So I am hearing things like, "Prentend Grandma, I need to go pink!" Or, "That's creepy, Prentend Grandma." Oh-kay. (We're already on day two of this)
My giant exercise ball got loose today during "core" class. It was supposed to be between my feet, while I was lifting over my head. (a lovely sight, I know) But it escaped, I tried to chase it down, then a skinny lady thought she'd "help" and knocked it right past me, down the other side of the class, and I am running all over the class (through several people) like a crazed heffer chasing my giant silver ball. It was a sight, believe me. I laughed so hard I almost wet myself.
I have recently been contacted by two old friends on facebook. I have been looking for both, for a very long time. I have just about given up on facebook, with all of my "oh-ffending" people and what not. But I have been happy to hear from them.
One reconnection has reminded be of when I went, "bungee jumping." Or, in fact, when I didn't go bungee jumping. More on that story later. It's a good one, including me yelling at the"trendy girls" and the guy running it using the e-f-f word on me. Hur-umph!
And, Roo starts pre-school today. Already? I know. It's sad.
Chubbles crawls so fast that his cheeks flap and he huffs and puffs as the trail of dust behind him flies!
Well, the dishes are ten feet high today, the snow is two feet deep, and I have to run. But it's been great talking to you!
Love you.
Bye.

It was so great to hear that is going on with you. Seeing Holly's facebook brought back lots of memories!
I love it! It seems just like a conversation we would actually have. By the way, you aren't the only one to lose your exercise ball in the middle of a class. I giggled the whole time I chased it down.
Oh, call me for reals!
My mom and I always talk about your blog and how we laught when we read them and how when we read them we can hear your voice in our heads reading them... does that make any sense? Miss you!
Oh please tell the Bungee Jumping experience! What a great memory! I love the story of the "runaway"ball, I can totally see you doing that and laughing so hard at yourself! Funny ....
