This weekend, we watched The Swiss Family Robinson. Twice. And later, that meant we had to PLAY, The Swiss Family Robinson.

Chubs stood watch at the door. Banging on it most of the time. Babbling for the big kids to play with him.

Roo pretended to be Leisel, or whatever the girls name is. (Apparently, the girl is insignificant in the film, as the boys couldn't remember her name.) Ruby always has to find a part of their "play" - and it's always 'the girl.' Everytime I stepped out on the deck, she'd yell "And your 'Mother,' right mom?"

And here are Fritz and Ernst, left and right respectively. (sp?) But they had to have no shirts, climb in the fruit trees, and carry weapons.

Yes, I agree that living like The Swiss Family Robinson would be fun.
At least for a little while.
