Vinyl Mania

Do you remember my box of vinyl? The one I carried over 8,000 miles, with me! The one that I was able to keep in my care, while Peter's backpack full of thoudands of dollars of electronics was lost on our journey? THAT box of vinyl? Well. Six months later, yes - I've past my six month mark, six months later I have at least 3/4 of it up. Hooray! So here are the kids rooms and bathroom. I'll show (and put up some more) later. ALSO, I bought 250.00 worth of fabric a year ago this month. To make my kids quilts for their beds. I am ALMOST finished, just some final binding, but you will see these also.

This is the kids bathroom. The tub, toilet and bidet are in the little room next to the sink area, there are a pink and green fish in there on a white wall.

Let me explain that I planned all this out a year ago. The two big boys together, the two little together, and Roo by herself. The boys situation hasn't worked out the way I intended, so you'll see that things don't match exactly.

Chach's Quilt.

Si's Quilt. The Big Boy room is a castle theme.

Sam's Quilt

Gideon's quilt. The Little Boy theme is a car/truck theme. There are two more pieces of vinyl I haven't put up yet in the little boy room. And, as you can see, Sam is in with Gid.

If you can see what looks like a missing part of Gid's crib, don't be alarmed. It's plexi glass and the crib isn't ours. We rent it from the company. It was wierd at first, but now I kind of like it.

Roo's Quilt

If you're wondering where I found all of these designs, I got them online about four years ago. I have been dreaming about them for years. Remember this? This is when I took matters into my own hands. I had wanted vinyl from the site, but it was just way too expensive, so I had to paint the design on my wall. THEN. Thanks to my friend Tiff, she so kindly and lovingly, and a little begrudgingly (haha) cut me several miles of vinyl to take with me over seas. It's a lightweight and easy way to decorate. And if Tiff had charged me for her time, it would have been way too expensive to even consider. She just charged me for the cost. What a nice girl. Isn't she? I think she cursed my name for a few weeks during the process though.
Thanks TIFF!!!! See you soon!

Yay yay yay!!! Love it! Thanks so much for the pics. Roo's room is darling. I want to see the big master bedroom ones next! And the poppies. I don't care if you put them up in the garage. :)

Ok, I love the quilts and the vinyl and everything you are doing to make your home a welcoming place in a far away land.

I was wondering if I could get a copy of your quilt patterns? I love them.

Love the quilts! I especially love the blue quilt. Quite a talented girl you are. We still have the baby quilt you made for Jacob when he was a baby.
