A wonderful welcome to Baby Gideon! 8 lbs. 10 oz. 21 inches, born at 12:17 p.m.
Aren't babies just the most amazing gifts? Every spot on them is perfection.
First bath at home. (he has a weird belly button, I know...the doctor says it will go away - whew!)
I have written so many posts in my head since I have been home. But, much to my amazement (hahahaha) I haven't had the time. But I will soon write about my love affair with Lorna Doone. Mmmm. (the cookies, you know) And how my delivery went, which I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats to hear.
I'll give you a sneak preview, it went like this...
"Hmm. I never miss. Sorry. Ooops. Things don't usually go this way. Wait a little longer...Sorry. This is strange." And so on. Things you don't want to hear while in labor. There was also a little, "I love you Dr. Harward" that I may have said in a dreamy voice. And quickly followed with a "In a giving birth kind of way."
It was super fun. You won't want to miss it. Now if I can just find five minutes to myself. (hahaha) Maybe in a few more years...
