Sneak Peak

Remember how I told you I'm a craft snob?

Well - I have other snobbery's as well.

Like projects, paint colors and the like.

This weekend I FINALLY got started on the front room overhaul. I painted, which means I mixed a bunch of paints in my garage to get the color I liked. (maybe it's not snobbery, it's just cheap. And I can do it just as good, for a lot less money)

So with the perfect shade of blue/green/robins egg/1970's bedroom...up on the wall.

I started.

It started like this. Just a projector and a pencil.

Then some paint.

Now, I'm not quite finished. But here is a tiny peak at what my walls are becoming.
Funny thing is.
I really don't mind if others don't like it.
I have been living in 'bland' and 'neutral' for years. As a renter, then as a home owner - 'just in case we have to sell.' Well, as far as I can tell, I'm gonna be here a while. So why not make it my own and get comfy?
One thing about it; I can always paint over it.
More to come later. The full wall.
It's delicious.

Wow! Did you do that freehand? You're so artistic. I've had to work at being autistic, oops I mean artistic!
Do show pictures of the room when you are all done!
