Florence and Pisa in a Jiffy!

Florence was really just a stop-over for us.  Someday I think I'll come here and stay a while.  But two visits now haven't been more than a quick night.  The place we stayed was beautiful though.  It's an OLD farm, converted into a small hotel/apartments.  The property was very cool, as were the rooms.

Pomegranates

I don't know what these are, maybe you do?

The family crest is made of 6 hedgehogs, and since Tiff is obsessed with getting a hedgehog - here you go.

Family room of the apartment.

It was too cold to use this, but it was gorgeous.

Ah.  We made it to Pisa.  First time here, and pretty cool.  Pisa itself seems like a really neat little city.  Of course seeing the leaning tower was cool, and a mark off my list.

I know these are cheesy - but don't you just have to take them?  Of course you do!

We were on the Mediterranean in the morning, and at the Adriatic that night.  The highway across central/north Italy was great.  Easy to drive, full of tunnels and beautiful scenery.  We even saw snow!

LOVE your apartment! So gorgeous! What a fun time! The kids looked awesome holding up the tower! The hedgehog crest was surprisingly not cute... :) That's all I want from my hedgehogs - cuteness.
