Need I say more?
Okay. I will. Because really, there are only so many fabulous sights a girl can take in at once. So, being on museum overload, on our last day we decided to skip - gulp - Versaille. Don't panic.
I've been there before, and it is amazing, but one thing about the world; if you haven't been there, you don't know what you're missing. So. Tiff will one day have to return if that is what her heart desires.
If you've ever been on a trip that involves some of the worlds most beautiful places and collections, I think you may know this little secret. After about five straight days of glory, you start saying this, "Yep. Love it. (hand motioning to move things along here) Uh, huh. More Da Vinci, yep. Fantastic. Masterpiece. Uh, huh...." Get the picture? You can only see so many awesome things at once. Us being tired. Me wanting a little bit of America in my life. Both needing some freedom and laughter. Where else would two grown women, mothers at that, head off to on their last day in Europe? Without their kids or husbands?!
Disneyland, of course!
Disneyland Paris. It was very similar to DL in California, but a few major differences. You know, like: You can buy beer and wine at DL Paris. People smoke, everywhere. It wasn't near as clean. People were dressed like the rest of Europe - dark and drab. But it was still the happiest place on earth, that is, as far as this side of the earth goes.
Tower of Terror. Love it!! It rained, a tiny bit, at the beginning of the day. Then it was just overcast and perfect. No lines, no kids, great rides all to ourselves! Awesomeness.
They don't have A Bugs Land, like they do in CA. Here they have Toy Story. And it is SO fun. I can't wait to take my kids here, especially Chach.

These pics are mainly for those of you who adore Disneyland, as I do. And want to see what the Magic Kingdom in France looks like. Close; but not the same. :)
Uh. Sorry. I did have to post a tiny bit of Spring for you to see. I love Spring, and of course, where I live - things don't bloom. So this Magnolia was a treat for me!
It's a Small World was a thousand times better than CA. I'm sure because it is much newer. It's the same concept, but much longer and much more inside.
Disneyland Brioce with Nutella. Mmmm. Mickey bread has to make you happy.
Crowd shot. See how they are quite drab. I know it's not bright and sunny California, but I think a little more color would be nice. But just like in the states, this place was full of families being together, making memories. That's what it was made for.
Overall my opinion of Disneyland Paris? Loved it. It's different, but you get the idea. It's not as pristine as in the U.S., but then again - it isn't the U.S. For Europe, it was bright a cheery and the people were very nice. The rides were basically the same, with some from Dinseyworld that aren't at Disneyland. The biggest downer? The don't sell EARS! What???!!! NO ears? You heard me. No Ears! They do sell plastic head bands that have ears attatched to them, but not hats with your names on them. Sad. In the end, I'll be taking my kids here. I give it two thumbs up as a great trip for a family living on this side of the world.

You forgot to mention that the workers there were the only nice people in France! And even they were marginal. :)
Were those palm trees is the first photo fake? They looked like fake palm trees. I love that you went to Disneyland. Versaille is fun but not in the rain. Next time you will go on the Sunday once a month when all the fountains are going and it's sunny and hot, that's the way to see it.
Just want you to know that we love you and hope that things stay safe in that part of the world for you!
